If you have discovered a star and you believe that he should join the Revolutionary Section for Talents, then there is nothing that should stop you from putting him on our site. All you need to do is gather some information about him and send it to us - we will take care of the rest. What kind of information should it be? There is a list below with appropriate comments to it - the info with a start is a required one, all the rest will just speed up the process of adding the player to our data base of talents.

Name* - his basic info.

Game version* - FM 2008/FM2007/FM2006.

Author* - your nickname.

Club - the team in which the player is at the start of the game.

Nationality - country of origin of the player. In case of a double nationality we are asking for the first one.

Position - positions that the players can play at. We are using the info from his profile.

Prefered foot - right/left/both.

CA (Current Ability) - CA of the player at the start of the game. We get the measurement from the game's editor.

PA (Potential Ability) - PA of the player at the start of the game. We get the measurement from the game's editor.

Value - the value of the player at the start of the game (in euro).

Year of birth - not his age!

Screen with his attributes - link or file. The screen should present the attributes of the player at the start of the game - right after loading the database. Only from the English version of the game! Attributes of the player after a few years of playing can be attached additionally to show his improvement.

Picture of the player - link or file, any size.

Description of the player* - this aspect is discussed in the paragraph below.

AS you can see, there is not that much information that is required by us, and that is so because every player is being checked out by us in the game and in the editor, therefore getting his information is not that complicated. However, giving us all his personal details from the recommended sources (the official game editor: for CA and PA) will significantly increase the time taken for getting the talent onto our site. As well as a good description. How do we write one?

At the beginning it is nice to mention something about player's real life or his career. Footballers are not only a number of attributes, but real people that have gone through and achieved a lot before they got into the game. Maybe a little note about his appearances on the national youth team, or how much he cost when he was transferred from one club to another, or maybe what was his home grown team? It is your choice. Mentioning player's real life is not necessary, but it definitely makes the description more attractive and fits wells to be an introduction. The focus of the next part is player's attributes.

If a footballer is to be described well, the game's editor must be run. Only there we will be able to find the values of the hidden attributes, and they are the ones which should always be mentioned, because all the other ones are visible in the screen. The hidden attributes can be found through programs such as FM Genie Scout, however it is not always going to be the correct value, since very often thee value is set in editor as 0, meaning they are random (we do not mention them in the description). Keeping in mind that running the official editor takes some time, we try to use it to its maximum and get all the info that we can get there. We can check the length of the player's contract and if it is valid for only one more year, then we should definitely mention it to the readers that the he will be available for free after one season. Another information worth mentioning would be footballer's preferences - which clubs and which players he likes, or not - and his favorite tricks. The last, and most important, element of our description is taking all the information from the screen of player's attributes and transforming it into text. We should concentrate on the ones which are the most relevant for the positiong at which the man plays and the ones which are not random (zero in the editor). What we should avoid in our description is things such as "In my Barcelona he scored 15 goals in 10 games". All advices regarding, for example, position at which the player gets up to his best, or the clubs to which he fits best (world class team or lower leagues?) are very welcome.

PS. You are going to save us a lot of work if you decide to write neatly.
I believe this is everything. At the end I would like to point out the fact, that all the views presented above are subjective - this is how it should look in my opinion. We are not going to throw away descriptions following a different scheme. The most important is to get the interest of a reader and present him with a relevant information. How to achieve that - that is your problem from now on.

Described talents (FM 2008, FM 2007 i FM 2006) along with the required and other information should be sent to the following e-mail:

Cheers!
